| Lone Spruce Alpacas 7/9/2010 |
| Daisy gave birth on May 3rd to Dartagnan, a beautiful dark brown boy. Sired by Woodstock, this little guy is the full brother to Dante. He has been anxiously awaiting some new playmates. |
| FIRST CRIA OF 2010 IS BORN! |
| At the beginning of May, Jeanne entered and showed Oksana at the 2010 Northeast Alpaca Expo in Syracuse, NY. This was an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our alpacas and farm at a regional event. It was great to see all of the quality alpacas and also see Dante with his new owners. |

| LADY GODIVA AND DANTE SOLD TO LOPICCOLO FARM |

| Lone Spruce Alpacas is delighted to share that we have sold our first two animals. This is a momentous occasion for us, and we believe a great start to the Lopiccolo herd. We want to extend a hearty congratulations to Michael and Michelle Lopicollo who purchased these two crias in November. Lady Godiva, Orleana's granddaughter, and Dante, a promising young sire, were in our herd for only a few months. We wish them the best of luck at their new home. |

| MAKANI and NAOMI JOIN THE HERD! |
| Okilani finally gave birth on June 21st to a very nice light fawn male, named Makani. Makani is the Hawaiian name for wind. Nakita followed shortly thereafter with a nice little girl on July 1st. Naomi was named by Sarah Robinson, as it was Sarah's birthday. Both crias and dams are doing well. We are awaiting Daisy's cria next. |

| In Mid-April, the alpacas got their first taste of fresh grass and thoroughly enjoyed stretching their legs in the pasture after being cooped up all winter. They felt even better after being shorn on May 16th! |
